{Social Entrepreneurship} The Unreasonable Institute
I have a crush. On the Unreasonable Institute (here in Boulder, Colorado in fact!). They do SUCH amazing work.
From their website, this is what joining the forces of being Unreasonable means…
“We unite up to 25 high-impact social entrepreneurs from around the world to attend our intensive 10-week summer institute. There, we will incubate their ventures with rigorous skill training and expert mentorship. At the end of the ten weeks, we will connect our Fellows with the start-up capital and global network of support needed to give their ventures wings.”
They recently posted an article on their blog, “Where Are All the Women.” I often think about–and discuss–this topic. Although I’m not so sure about the image used in the post (the characters from Sex in the City), I really appreciate that Unreasonable is willing to ask what they can do to make a change. {May I suggest that they hire me…? ;)} Because this is an important issue, here are a couple of related posts I found compelling:
